Belconnen's history
Belconnen turned 40 on 23 June 2006. In 1966
the first sod was turned in Aranda. To celebrate
the Belconnen Website now has a special page on
Belconnen history. The
page now includes Brian Rhynehart's chronological
history of Belconnen.

Community Centre and it's immediate vicinity.

The ACT election
The ACT election is to be held on October 18.
Belconnen is all in the electorate of Ginninderra
which returns 5 members of the ACT Legislative
Assembly. Candidates and parties contesting Ginninderra
are invited to submit articles and other material
in support of their claims for election. Just

TravelSmart final update
The TravelSmart - Belconnen project is a large-scale
Voluntary Travel Behaviour Change Project intended
to encourage the use of healthier, more sustainable
transport modes. It was conducted in Belconnen
over 2006 and 2007. It is now complete. read
