In Australia vocational education and training is provided
through Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). In
the ACT these are registered by the Accreditation and
Registration Council of the ACT to provide accredited

of the Australian Qualifications Framework.

Digital Divide - Computer Access and Training

Classes for Beginners
BIT4U Beginners is open to people with
very little or no computer knowledge. It is a 2 hour
class held across a 5 week course, where the students
acquire a broad introduction and practical use of basic
MS Word (3 lessons) and the Internet (2 lessons). A
minimum of four students is required. Fee: $ 95:- per
person and subject availability.
Bookings are essential and can be done over the phone
or in person at Centre reception. The Centre only books
in one week at a time but depending on availability
bookings can be done up to 3 weeks ahead to secure continuity
in your learning process.
Always remember to cancel your booking with the reception
if you cannot make it to the booked session.
Please ring 6264 0232 or come to the reception
to book your lesson. You will be able
to participate in up to 10 lessons, after which you
should have a basic understanding on how to use a computer.
